On November 30, 2019, Isha Arora launched ARAINNA to fulfil her dream of owning a business that not only suited her sensibilities but was also extremely rewarding. So far, the brand has attained a place in the hearts of its customers mostly through word-of-mouth. The brand has built a good amount of goodwill so far and we have big plans for the future as well.

Our Story Arainna 'Be a Diva Everyday'

“Fashion and Comfort are antonyms” said a friend to Isha over a casual brunch.

Arainna, her daughter was born nine years ago and when Isha decided to mother a business years later, “Arainna” was the obvious choice for the brand. She believes whether you are a mom to a child or a brand, certain traits are a must have – patience, honesty and dedication. The journey is challenging but one does reach a proud moment over time.

Isha questioned the lack of comfort in fashion. With millions of women out and about everyday, why must one be made to choose between being fashionable or comfortable? The choices in the market were restricted to two most easily available dress options – Western wear from international brands that did not always suit the Indian figure, thus lead to certain discomfort or Indian wear from desi brands that were manufactured in such large quantities that it lost its charm. Arainna was born in 2019 to fulfil this gap – to be a brand that will make every woman feel a diva every single day, a brand that will promise fashion with comfort.

Arainna stands for high quality fashion. The fabrics are hand picked to ensure they are the best in quality and feel. The designs are not just unique but also a reflection of the parent, calm and sober. The color palette is fun and yet very appealing to the eye which makes this collection a perfect day and night time wear. One can go from a 9-5 job to a 5 – 9 sundowner with equal ease. Not to forget 12 hours in these designs are absolute comfort.

Arainna is proud of being a purely made in India brand – they source every fabric from Indian manufacturers and artisans and are very conscious about delivering sustainable fashion. While they have expanded their base beyond India, they stay rooted to their promise of delivering great quality and unique designs at costs that are affordable. This is also the reason the brand does not participate in random Sale price battles; they are a slow fashion brand that work hard to win the loyalty of the people that believe and trust in them. Speaking on this occasion, Isha Arora, the driving force behind ARAINNA, said, “Completing one year in the dynamic fashion industry is a personal achievement for our brand. We entered the fashion and apparel industry knowing what we were headed into. Our biggest challenge was to create a space in the hearts of our niche customers. And I am really happy to say that we have made some serious inroads in the past one year. However, this journey hasn’t been easy, with the Coronavirus and lockdown hitting us just months into our launch. But we turned adversity into an opportunity and shifted our entire focus to online medium in order to grab the customer’s mind space.”
